In Canada, the CRTC requires large telecommunication companies to open their network to independent service providers to foster competition. These providers buy large volumes of bandwidth and resales it to you, at a discount.

I created a chart which compares the prices offered by different service providers in Quebec. The chart is updated every 3 months.

Similer to Protegez-vous's september 2012 chart, my chart is always up to date and contains more information. Check the price difference between your provider and those recommended. You may be surprised.
